The Event Overview

The Indian Ocean Classic invites surf sport enthusiasts to participate in multiple discipline race formats following an extended course for Scarborough Beach north to Trigg Beach and south towards City Beach. Course formats are races of endurance for individuals and teams of four for men, women and juniors.

Team entries will include celebrity teams and local sports stars. Ironman legend Guy Leech and multiple Ironman and Anaconda Adventure Race winner Guy Andrews are already confirmed to compete.

As well as the race itself, the Indian Ocean event comprises plenty of other activities and entertainment. Including Surf Life Saving WA nipper clinics with IronMan legends along the length of the event beaches on Friday 21 Dec. Saturday 22 December will see Scarborough Beach packed with activities. Sunday 23 Dec will see the Sunset Coast host Round 1 of the Kellogg's Nutri-Gran IronMan and IronWomen Series.
